The Turkish oud is a stringed instrument shaped like a pear without any frets. The Turkish oud is used in traditional Turkish and Mediterranean music. The Turkish oud is an exotic instrument, whose roots stretch as far back as the Egyptian pyramids.
The Turkish Oud has mainly 5 double strings and one string «independent», which is known as «bam» and the tune is E - A - B - E - A - D, or E - FA# - B - E - A - D. These are the basic Oud tunings.

Condition is good, there is a small crack or split on the face (pictured)
