This is a 1950's era Gretsch 5-String banjo with dark walnut stained resonator in good condition. We repaired the split in the headstock, installed planetary tuners and replaced missing pearloid position markers. There are scuffs and other signs aging on the resonator. Has a warm, pleasing tone. Includes the original chipboard case.
