→ July 8 & 22, with a LIVE performance on July 29
→ August 5 & 19
Time: 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Cost: $20 per class
Join our Youth Rock Band Class and experience what it’s like to rehearse, collaborate, and perform as part of a real band. Whether you play guitar, bass, drums, or sing, this class offers the chance to build your skills, explore new songs, and prepare for live shows — including a performance at Downtown Tuesday Nights.
Led by experienced instructor Lauren Wood, rehearsals focus on technique, rhythm, stage presence, and teamwork. Participants will learn a variety of classic and modern rock songs while developing confidence and musical expression in a supportive environment.
Some playing experience is required.

| Instructor Bio: | Lauren Wood is a versatile musician and experienced instructor specializing in guitar, bass, ukulele, and piano. She studied jazz and classical guitar performance at Westfield State University in Massachusetts and has been teaching since 2009, working with students of all ages and ability levels. Lauren’s student-focused teaching style ensures that each lesson is customized to the student’s interests and goals, with a strong emphasis on music theory, notation, and foundational technique. She teaches a wide range of styles, including rock, blues, jazz, Latin, classical, and popular music, making learning both fun and engaging while providing a solid musical foundation. Outside of teaching, Lauren performs with other musicians and students, enjoys transcribing music, and spends her free time skiing with her son. |
