Join our Rock Band Class and dive into the world of live music performance!
Whether you're a guitarist, bassist, drummer, or vocalist, this class provides the opportunity to hone your skills while collaborating with fellow musicians.
You'll learn to play classic and modern rock songs, develop stage presence, and practice key elements of teamwork, rhythm, and musical expression. Under the instruction of Lauren Wood, rehearsals will focus on enhancing technique, building confidence, and preparing for live shows.
Special Finale Performance!
This season of Rock Band Class will conclude with a live performance at Roseville’s Downtown Tuesday Nights — on the Community Stage right in front of The Strum Shop — on June 3rd!
This class is your gateway to rocking out, building skills, and having fun in a supportive environment. Some playing experience on an instrument or vocals is required.

| Instructor Bio: | Lauren Wood is a versatile musician and experienced instructor specializing in guitar, bass, ukulele, and piano. She studied jazz and classical guitar performance at Westfield State University in Massachusetts and has been teaching since 2009, working with students of all ages and ability levels. Lauren’s student-focused teaching style ensures that each lesson is customized to the student’s interests and goals, with a strong emphasis on music theory, notation, and foundational technique. She teaches a wide range of styles, including rock, blues, jazz, Latin, classical, and popular music, making learning both fun and engaging while providing a solid musical foundation. Outside of teaching, Lauren performs with other musicians and students, enjoys transcribing music, and spends her free time skiing with her son. |
