Right after Carla’s workshop, stick around and take the stage — or cheer on your fellow musicians — at our Community Open Mic, hosted by Carla Fontanilla.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or it’s your very first time sharing a song, this event is about connection, creativity, and celebration. And what makes it truly special? Our crowd. Most of our regulars are grandparents, aunties, uncles, and longtime music lovers — when young performers show up, they don’t just get a mic, they get a whole room full of cheerleaders.

Expect everything from heartfelt originals to playful covers, and maybe even a Sonicare-inspired fingerstyle piece.

This isn’t just an open mic — it’s a home stage for our community.
