This comprehensive vocal workshop, led by Julie Chafin, is open to all ages and skill levels, making it the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to enhance their vocal abilities. The workshop will cover essential topics such as breath control and vocal exercises, culminating in a fun and interactive sing-along round.
Julie Chafin brings a wealth of experience to the workshop, having trained with some of the world’s most renowned musicians. Her mentors include Irene Dalis, a star of the New York Metropolitan Opera; Bobby McFerrin, famous for "Don’t Worry Be Happy"; Todd Schroeder, a Disney instrumentalist; Gunnar Madsen of The Bobs; and Tito Capobianco, former General Director of the San Diego Opera.
Julie earned her B.A. in Music (Jazz/Voice) from San Jose State University in 1982, where she was one of the first graduates in the Jazz/Voice major. With over 30 years of teaching experience in piano, flute, and voice, Julie is dedicated to helping her students grow and succeed in their musical journey. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced vocalist, this workshop offers valuable insights and hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
