Lauren's method of instruction customizes each individual lesson to the interest of the student with a strong emphasis on understanding the foundations of music theory and reading notation. Lessons are designed to be fun and exciting to keep students engaged as they learn.
Bio
Lauren Wood attended Westfield State University in Massachusetts as a music performance major playing jazz and classical guitar. Since 2009 Lauren has taught guitar and piano for students of all ability levels with genres including rock, blues, jazz, latin, classical and popular music.
Lauren occasionally performs with other musicians and students around town and enjoys transcribing music and skiing with her son in her spare time!
