Lessons for all brass instruments incorporate a classical foundation, with an emphasis on technique, musicianship, and theory. Other styles such as Jazz and Pop can be explored as well.

Bio:
Ian has over 20 years of experience playing brass and 17 years as a Bass Trombonist. He studied under Mexican Symphony Orchestra trombonist David Quintinar and has played with the Solano Symphony Orchestra, Benicia Ballet, Sacramento Youth Symphony, Pasadena Community Symphony, and countless smaller rock and jazz groups. With a BA in Music Composition from UCSB and a decade of composing and performing experience in Los Angeles, Ian continues his journey with The Strum Shop and is excited to show new students the power of brass!
