Randell Lee is currently a student at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music where he is studying Music Education and Flute Performance. Before attending Pacific Randell attended San Joaquin Delta College where he studied Clarinet with Art Holton. Originally from Lodi, California, Randell began studying flute at the age of twelve. In 2010 he went to attend Cesar Chavez High School in Stockton California where he studied with Kristin Florek and Art Coleman. Through his high school career Lee had participated in San Joaquin County Honor Band all four years of High School, also in the All Northern California Honor Band, and the California All State Honor Band. In addition he also held the position as principal flautist of the Center Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra 2009 through 2014.

Mr. Lee as a performer has performed with many great artists like Grammy award-winning Saxophonist Chad Lefkowitz Brown, Chris Brubeck, Greg Tardy, David Post, and Donny McCaslin He also maintains an active schedule performing with the Stockton Civic Theater, That Showbiz Theater, Valley Community Orchestra, Linden Community Theater, Stockton Concert Band, Tracy Repertory Theater, Downtown Theatre Fairfield, and The Valley Concert Band.            

As an active teacher his students have also been very successful in making the CMEA Capital Section Honor Band, San Joaquin County Middle and High School Honor Band, All Northern California Honor Band, and the California All State Honor Band. Randell’s students also held chairs in the Premiere Sacramento Youth Symphony and Central Valley Youth Symphony.

In the future he hopes to attend the University of North Texas to pursue a Master’s Degree in Woodwind Doubling to further his development of the art. Randell's notable woodwind teachers include Carole Romans, Caryl Mae Scott, Matthew Krejci, Art Holton, Kristin Florek, and Cathy Ettle.
