About Dani Joy
Musician. Ukulele teacher. Featured Ko'Aloha Artist. Daughter.
When she's not giving private ukulele instruction during the week (what a day job huh?), she's studying music, practicing and performing with her band; Dani Joy & the Boys, and dreaming of world travel. 2010 RISD graduate, Dani Joy enjoys using her knowledge and expertise in teaching, hoping to inspire the next generation to experiment musically and enjoy the process of learning.
Daughter of a traveling sound man, Dani has been exposed to a plethora of musical styles, often quizzed by her father to pick out the sound of various instruments within a song while driving. As her father was a traveler, and his father before him, Dani Joy is looking forward to jet setting around the world, bringing joy & harmony to every culture she encounters.
Ukulele instruction is not just a day job for Dani. Teaching is her passion and witnessing her students find victory in their own journey is the pay off. Students age 5-95 have benefited greatly from her patience and experience with music. As a traveling performer, Dani aims to present workshops along with her stage performances, always hoping to leave her audience with something to think about and improve on. As a 2010 RISD graduate, Dani Joy enjoys using her knowledge and expertise in the arts thru teaching, hoping to inspire the next generation to experiment musically and enjoy the process of learning.
