Beginning Ukulele Monthly Group Class



Once Per Week for 4 Weeks: Wednesdays at 6pm

This relaxed group class is designed to get absolute beginners started on playing songs within the first lesson! You will learn basic chords, reading tablature, technique, arpeggios, strumming patterns, and some simple, familiar songs all while gaining the confidence to play with your friends and family at home. 

Note: November & December's class will only be three weeks long. Three week classes are $60 dollars. (Proper prices will be reflected three weeks before the start date.)

Instructor: Ariel Elliot
Instructor Bio: Ariel is a mother of one with years of experience teaching groups of young children in both music & dance. Ariel is also a gifted singer with an entertaining personality, keeping kids (and adults) happily engaged in the class activities. Ariel was raised by a family of musicians, briefly dabbling in bass guitar and piano before settling on voice/choir in middle school. Ariel has been informally studying ukulele, voice and music theory since The Strum Shop's opening in 2012. She has been an instructor for The Strum Shop's Ukes for Schools Non-Profit Program as well as The Roseville Police Activities League since 2014. In 2016, after realizing her passion for early childhood music education, she also became a certified teacher through the world renown Music Together program. Ariel is currently attending Sierra College with intent to transfer to Sacramento State to acquire a Bachelors of Music (Pending 2023).
