Join us on February 16th for an evening with Forest Bailey & Jessica Malone, two of the area's most artful acoustic performers. Forest's unorthodox style of playing consists of using the body for percussion and strings for bass and melody all at once, similar to Michael Hedges & Tommy Emmanuel. If you're interested in learning how to incorporate this style into your own guitar playing, plan to attend Forest's guitar workshop before the concert. Jessica Malone?s soulful vocals and acoustic guitar playing create a one of a kind sound that blends raw rootsy Americana with folk, jazz, rock & pop. Her honest authentic approach to song-writing creates music that will take you back in time while heartfelt lyrics keep you rooted in the present.
